Direct force measurement system of IIS consists of EM sensor and PowerEM-read out units. EM sensor and PowerEM produce magnetic field to steel bar, single strand or multi-strands, then measure the force directly according to the relative permeability. With the Multiplexer a PowerEM read-out units can measure the force at 16 nodes automatically.
